These stands are entirely designed and manufactured in Apopka, FL.

Key facts:

• Designed for yokes similar to Piper P/N 12592-2 (see last product image for an image of the yoke)
• Cable is ~1 ft long when un-stretched and can stretch to 3-4 ft
• Cable is terminated with a 3.5mm headphone jack which you can use or cut off and replace with your own termination
• The button has a very satisfying click that can be felt when pressing it, giving you feedback that the button is fully engaged
• Body is made of ABS, which will not deform in the summer heat
• When installed, the board is sandwiched between the yoke and the ABS shell
• When not installed, the board is exposed, making it easy to service it should the need arise

Some things to note:

• This is obviously not certified in any way, shape, or form. It’s made in some dude’s garage. This is not some battle-hardened piece of hardware and like several of the other things in the cockpit, it might fail at any time.
• Because these parts are 3D printed, there are always some manufacturing flaws, most of which are cosmetic.
• Because these parts are assembled by hand, there are always assembling flaws, specifically when it comes to centering the button in the hole and to soldering. Not all parts will look exactly the same.

• Test fitted on an original door to ensure compatibility
